What this role involves
Mercor is engaging experienced designers to evaluate how well AI systems perform real-world design work. Contributors define grading criteria and score AI-generated and human brand systems, campaign visuals, presentations, layouts, packaging concepts, and digital or social assets, providing rigorous written critiques and iterating from senior-reviewer feedback.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional graphic, brand, or visual-design experience
- Experience at a world-class design studio or creative agency, or in a senior design role at a leading consumer or technology brand
- Deep fluency in typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color, composition, and brand systems
- Ability to articulate critique at the level expected in a design-lead review
- Exceptionally strong written communication
- Consistent, detail-oriented judgment and comfort with peer review and calibration
- Prior AI training, evaluation, or human-data project experience is a plus
