Privacy policy

Public listings, AI Work Match, checklists, and the browser-local application tracker work without an account. Optional accounts store only the information needed for sign-in and the private workspace features a user chooses to use.

Account and sign-in data

When accounts are enabled, Google sign-in may provide an account name, email address, email-verification state, profile image, and provider account identifier. Email magic links use the submitted email address to deliver a short-lived, single-use sign-in link. Specialist AI Work does not offer password authentication and does not store a site password.

Profile, saved search, and tracker data

A signed-in user may explicitly save professional category, bounded specialty tags, experience and credential signals, country, languages, task and schedule preferences, saved opportunity filters, and cloud tracker records. Tracker notes are optional and bounded. Do not put passwords, identity documents, banking information, confidential employer or client information, or medical information in tracker notes.

Browser-local data

Anonymous AI Work Match answers, checklist state, and the local application tracker can be stored in the user’s browser. That local data is not uploaded automatically after sign-in. A local tracker import requires a preview and explicit confirmation, and the user decides whether to retain or clear the browser copy.

Job alerts are separate

Creating an account or signing in never subscribes a user to job alerts. Alert email requires a separate, explicit opt-in under the email system’s consent rules. Users can manage preferences or unsubscribe using the email links. Deleting an account does not silently alter a separately recorded alert preference.

Service providers and sharing

Specialist AI Work uses infrastructure and database providers to operate the site, Google only when a user chooses Google sign-in, and Loops for transactional magic-link delivery and separately opted-in email. Saved profiles, saved searches, and tracker records are not sent to employers or work platforms. Specialist AI Work does not provide recruiter access, publish candidate profiles, or submit applications automatically.

Security and retention

Database sessions, hashed verification tokens, origin checks, rate limits, and encrypted OAuth provider tokens are used when account features are enabled. Expired authentication records are periodically removed. Account workspace data is retained while the account exists, subject to operational backups and legal requirements; browser-local data remains under the browser user’s control.

Export and deletion

A signed-in user can export their profile, linked-provider labels without secrets, saved searches, tracker records, and consent history. Account deletion revokes sessions and deletes authentication records and private workspace data. It does not delete public opportunity data or silently change separate job-alert consent.
