About the Role Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to train frontier models on high-quality healthcare reasoning data. We're expanding our Medical Expert network. As a Medical Expert, you'll design realistic clinical scenarios, evaluate model outputs against evidence-based standards, and help shape how the next generation of AI reasons about patient care. If your specialty has its own dedicated listing on Mercor (Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Hematology/Oncology, Radiology, Cardiology), please apply through that listing instead — you'll see the rate band that actually applies to you. Use this listing if your specialty is not yet listed (e.g., Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Surgery, ENT, PMR/Pain, Occupational Medicine, etc.).
Requirements
- Attending Physicians: Must be board certified with current, active, unrestricted medical license
- Resident physicians: Must be in final year of residency (recent graduates must be board-eligible)
- Fellows: Must be board-certified/board-eligible in primary specialty and have current active, unrestricted, medical license.
- Rates are set per specialty and seniority tier, benchmarked to Mercor. Your specific rate will be confirmed in your offer.
